Jessie Pauline Quinn, age 87, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.  She was preceded in death by husband, Oliver Sanderson; son Ward Sanderson; sisters, Dorothy Garner, Louise Harper; and brothers, JT White, Otis White.

Mrs. Quinn is survived by her son, Wendell Sanderson of Beulaville; four sisters, Barbara Hollingsworth of Rose Hill, Ann Kornegay of Warsaw, Carolyn Smith of Beulaville, Linda Foss of Kenansville; two brothers, David White of Magnolia, Jimmy White of Magnolia, two grandchildren Allen Sanderson, Wendy Williford; and 4 great grandchildren, Christina, Cody, Matthew, and Makayla.

Bobby Kennedy Turner left all his troubles behind to meet his Savior on October 25, 2016.  He was a special person who touched the lives of everyone he met.  He was born September 8, 1940 to Clayton and Della Turner of Pink Hill where he grew up.  Bobby married the love of his life Peggy Jon Sanderson on August 10, 1962.  He was the father of 2 children.  In his younger years he was employed at Guilford East.  Later, he entered the construction field.  He was a finish carpenter who often crafted moldings, trim work and cabinets in houses.  He designed and built furniture, decorative pieces and also custom cabinets.  His life was devoted to his Savior and his family.  He served in many positions at Turners Chapel PFWB over the years.  The last 6 years, he was a member of Turning Point Assembly PFWB Church. 

Bobby was known for his devotion to God, his family and his love of NC BBQ.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, Clayton and Della Turner, brothers Gerald Turner, Clayton "Whit" Turner, Mack Turner and also a grandson, Frankie Alphin.  He is survived by his spouse, Peggy Jon Sanderson Turner of the home, daughter Tammy Mobley and husband John Mobley of Beulaville, daughter Tonya Alphin and husband James of La Grange, sisters Mavis "Sissy" Mercer of Beulaville, Helen Gillette of Richlands, brothers Gene Turner of Goldsboro, Cleveland Turner of Pink Hill and Troy "Alex" Turner of Pink Hill.  He had the privilege of being Papa to eight grand children and eight great grandchildren.

Jordan Tyler Barefoot, age 25, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.  He was preceded in death by his father Gary Len Barefoot.  Jordan was a member of the Newton Grove Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Samantha Lanier Barefoot of Newton Grove; mother Darlene H. Powell and husband Steve of Clinton; three sisters, Julie Barefoot Brown of Rose Hill, Sheryl Kimbro of Clinton, and Somer Powell of Raleigh; two brothers, Rokey Powell and Skler Powell both of Clinton; nieces, Averee Brooke Brown and Zoee Blythe Brown; nephews, Kendell Reed Lanier and Jackson Ray Lanier.

Debra Howard Matthews, age 60, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband Jerry Lee Matthews of Beulaville; two daughters, Stacey Thacker of Beulaville and Glenda Hunter of Beulaville; son, Ken Howard of Beulaville; sister,  Darlene Bridges of Easley, SC; two brothers, Larry Seay of Newnan, GA and Louis Seay of Indiana; thirteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
