Tammi Fountain Albertson, age 57, died Saturday, April 8, 2017, at home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Cox Fountain Bryan and Graham Jarvis Fountain, and brother, Graham Jamie Fountain.

Mrs. Albertson is survived by her husband, Johnnie Glenn Albertson of Fountaintown; two daughters, Brettany A. Coltrain  and husband Edward Ivey of La Grange and Mallory A. Jones and husband Tony Lee of Richlands; sisters, Vicki F. Brown of Beulaville, Pansi F. Kilpatrick of Garner, Sandy Miller of Jacksonville, Mary Jo Brown of Fountaintown, and Marcia Jones of Beulaville; and three grandchildren, Bella Caroline Brock, Avery Grace Brock, and Mason Lee Jones.

Trilbia Carolina Jones, age 70, died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.  Ms. Jones is survived by her son Roy Cottle of Mount Olive, sister Trica Jones Spear of Morehead City, brother William L. Jones of Micro, and three grandchildren.

Rebecca Thomas Smith, age 85, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Smith Brown of Beulaville; one grandchild, Jessica Thomas; and one great grandchild, Hampton Thomas.

Jean Lanier Giddeons, 75, of 612 E. Southerland Street, Wallace, NC passed away March 11, 2017, at Rex Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Giddeons Quinn and husband Jay of Wallace; two grandchildren, Jack Quinn and Anna Carson Quinn; and one sister, Mary Helen Bryant of Rose Hill.

Born in Duplin County to the late Ozelle and Durward Lanier, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Carson “Sambo” Giddeons.  Together they established and operated Giddeons’ Body Shop, Inc.  She retired after thirty years of service to CP&L.

Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home in Beulaville on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 2:00 PM followed by visitation.  Burial will follow the visitation at Rockfish Cemetery in Wallace, NC.  Pallbearers will be Mike Bryant, Patrick Giddeons, Tray Giddeons, Gary Murphy, Ken Roberts, Dr. Daniel Ricci, Curtis Simpson, and Bill Johnson.

In addition to her kindheartedness and generosity, Jean was a staunch prayer warrior and considered family her greatest wealth.  She has finished her course as a noble matriarch and her seat will be empty.

Margaret Johnson Miller, age 85, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at home.  She is survived by her daughter, Gilda M. Thigpen and husband Jeff of Beulaville; son, Gary A.  Miller and friend Wendy Fountain of Beulaville; sisters, Ruth Grady of Beulaville, Shirley Lanier of Beulaville and Sue Hunter of Kinston; grandchildren, Cristy Bell and Kelly Horne; and great grandchildren, Braden Bell and Lawson Horne.
