David Allen Grady, age 60, died Thursday, December 14, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. He is survived by his wife, Angela Padrick Grady of Beulaville; daughters Emily Grady of Beulaville, Kara Parker and husband Layton of Richlands; son, Cody Howard and wife Chelsie of Pink Hill; mother, Faye Coward of Albertson; sisters, Theressa Joyner and husband Kevin of Ahoskie, Frances Anne Wallace and husband Tommy of West Jefferson; and grandson Samuel Howard.

Rebecca Sue Hall, age 73, died Sunday, December 10, 2023 at home. She is survived by her husband, Billy Randall Hall of Potters Hill; daughter, April Blizzard and husband Samuel Ashely Blizzard III; grandsons, Brody Garrett Vance and wife Casey Corley Vance of Cincinnati, OH, Brandon Chase Vance and wife Marissa Vance of Hampstead; granddaughters, Alecia Cox and husband Andrew, Paxton Blizzard and husband Javari, Alex Britt and husband Jared; grandchildren, Eva, Eliza, Drew, Marsh; and numerous special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who she loved as her own; and her loving K-9 and best friend Elvis.

Robert ‘Bob’ Worth Brown, aged 95, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in Abingdon, VA. Born in Johnston County, NC, on September 27, 1928, Bob led a life filled with devotion, service, and family. He now stands in the presence of Jesus.

Bob’s life was a testament to his roots, values, and unwavering faith. His early days were spent in Southport, NC, where his father was a devoted Southern Baptist Pastor. The values instilled in him during those formative years became the foundation of his life.

When his family relocated to Beulaville, NC, he crossed paths with the love of his life, Jane Bostic. Their story spanned 72 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they celebrated a life filled with family, friends, numerous dogs, and an unwavering commitment to Jesus.

As a young man, Bob served in the Navy during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life, he dedicated himself to serving in various capacities in each church he was a part of. In his retirement, Bob and his wife Jane embarked on a journey across the country in their RV, where they shared God's word with fellow travelers and campers through the organization "Campers on Mission."

Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Jane Bostic Brown; his daughters, Barbara Childs (Lee) and Laura Brown; his grandchildren, Laura McAliley (Peyton) and Kathy Koserski (Chris); and his great-grandchildren, Katy McAliley, Ellie Koserski, Nian Koserski, and Lily Koserski.

The youngest of seven children, he is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lewis Brown, mother Eva May Williams Brown, and siblings, Arthur Brown, Edith Dail, Myrtle Watson, Harvey Brown, Lula McKeithan, and Martha Gray Willis.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 4, at noon at Bostic-Sandlin Cemetery on Corn Mill Road in Beulaville, NC. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Beulaville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 394, Beulaville, NC 28518.
