Mavis Turner Mercer , age 82, died
Wednesday October 21, 2026 at Davis Community in Wilmington. She is preceded in death by her husband Ted Mercer and grandson Caleb Ivy Mercer.
Mrs. Mercer is survived by daughter, Rhonda Mercer of Beulaville; sons Chris Mercer and wife Georgia of Kinston, David Mercer and wife Amanda of Pink Hill; brother Troy Alex Turner and wife Linda of Pink Hill, sisters in law, Marie Turner of Goldsboro, Peggy Turner of Beulaville, Melinda Turner of Pink Hill; three grandchildren Seth Mercer and wife Victoria, Holt Mercer and wife Kurstin, Keelia House and husband Garrett; nine great grandchildren, Addison Griffin, Ava Mercer, Fallon Mercer, Riley Mercer, Scarlett House, Sully House, Hallie House, Christopher Burkett, Drew Bostic; and a special family friend Gail Rogers.
