Mr. Kopanski is survived by his two sons, Dave Kopanski and wife Terri of Garner, John Kopanski and wife Sandy of Dunn; sister, Betty Struck of Conover, WI; and two grandchildren, Amanda Kopanski and Kyle Kopanski.

Steven Whaley of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Lessie Brown of Beulaville, and Pearline Eury of Monroe; brother Frank Whaley of Kenansville; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
