Bobby Kennedy Turner left all his troubles behind to meet his Savior on October 25, 2016.  He was a special person who touched the lives of everyone he met.  He was born September 8, 1940 to Clayton and Della Turner of Pink Hill where he grew up.  Bobby married the love of his life Peggy Jon Sanderson on August 10, 1962.  He was the father of 2 children.  In his younger years he was employed at Guilford East.  Later, he entered the construction field.  He was a finish carpenter who often crafted moldings, trim work and cabinets in houses.  He designed and built furniture, decorative pieces and also custom cabinets.  His life was devoted to his Savior and his family.  He served in many positions at Turners Chapel PFWB over the years.  The last 6 years, he was a member of Turning Point Assembly PFWB Church. 

Bobby was known for his devotion to God, his family and his love of NC BBQ.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, Clayton and Della Turner, brothers Gerald Turner, Clayton "Whit" Turner, Mack Turner and also a grandson, Frankie Alphin.  He is survived by his spouse, Peggy Jon Sanderson Turner of the home, daughter Tammy Mobley and husband John Mobley of Beulaville, daughter Tonya Alphin and husband James of La Grange, sisters Mavis "Sissy" Mercer of Beulaville, Helen Gillette of Richlands, brothers Gene Turner of Goldsboro, Cleveland Turner of Pink Hill and Troy "Alex" Turner of Pink Hill.  He had the privilege of being Papa to eight grand children and eight great grandchildren.
