Due to the possibility of inclement weather this weekend, Mary Brown Raynor’s memorial graveside service scheduled for Saturday, January 24 has been postponed. New arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Mary Brown Raynor, age 75, formerly of Chinquapin, died Monday, December 1, 2025 in Jacksonville, NC. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Lorrell Brown Sheppard and Trixie Brown Jarman.
Mrs. Raynor is survived by her daughter, Dawn Raynor Ward and husband Richard of Magnolia; son, James Lynn Raynor and wife Alethia of Greenville; brother, Robert Wallace Brown and wife Norma of Clayton; and three grandchildren
