Joseph Richard Jones, age 78, died Monday, November 17, 2025 in Sunrise Assisted Living of Raleigh. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Somers Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by his son, Neil Ryan Jones and wife Jessica of Raleigh; sister, Holly Whitt of Oxford; grandson Henry Samuel Jones; niece Jennifer Duke; and great nephew Joseph Duke.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina or to the Beulaville Free Will Baptist Church.
