Roscoe Gene Swinson, age 83, died Tuesday, May 19, 2026 in ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville. He is preceded in death by his son Jonathan Edward Swinson.
Mr. Swinson is survived by his wife Elaine E. Swinson of Beulaville; daughter Katina S. Holmes of Summerville, SC; daughter-in-law Stacy Teddar of Black Creek; sisters, Louise Morgan of TX, Jeanette Dixon of Maple Hill; brother, Donald Swinson of Maple Hill; three grandchildren, Dustin Holmes, Abigail Swinson, Chloe Holmes; and three great grandchildren, Kainen Moore, Avery Holmes, and Daniel Swinson.
