Louis Kornegay, Jr., age 72, died Monday, September 14, 2026 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville. He is survived by his wife, Diane Jones Kornegay of Rose Hill; sons, Adam Kornegay and wife Dawn of Rose Hill, Ashley Kornegay and wife Bridget of Rose Hill, Matthew Kornegay and wife Amanda of Rose Hill; sister Mary Batchelor and husband Murphy of Rose Hill; brothers, Greg Kornegay of TX, Michael Kornegay of Fayetteville, Rodney Kornegay and wife Julie of Graham; step-brothers, Gary Davis and wife Ruth of Rose Hill, Jamie Davis and wife Kim of Rose Hill; and three grandchildren.
